TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – State Oil Company PT Pertamina (Persero) won four awards in the 2021 Indonesia Sustainable Development Goals (ISDA) Award.
The four awards are the best leadership on the SDGs, the most committed company on the social pillar, the most committed company on the economic pillar and the most committed company on the environmental pillar.
Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto in a statement here on Sunday praised the campaign on sustainable development led by various parties.
“President Joko Widodo affirmed his commitment to sustainable development in his state speech of August 16, 2021. In the future, the government will continue to apply a development strategy that takes into account the principles of the economy green, green preservation and the blue economy for the sustainable well-being of people, ”said Hartarto.
ISDA is an annual event organized by the Business Forum for Community Development (CFCD) in cooperation with the Ministry of National Development Planning / National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).
ISDA is recognition for companies that have implemented their corporate social responsibility (CSR) program and have contributed to the achievement of 17 SDG points.
Hartarto said the awards should inspire the business sector to improve the quality of life, regarding environmental management as well as public activities.
It would take the collective work of government, business, media and educational institutions to achieve the SDG target, the minister added.
Meanwhile, Fajriyah Usman, Acting Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, praised the company’s achievements.
In addition to the four awards won by Pertamina Holding, 23 CSR program carried out by its subholdings, also won the ISDA 2021 awards.
