Wellness Together, Inc., a California-based national 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, in partnership with the California Department of Education, is hosting its 6th Annual Student Mental Wellness Conference (SMWC) at San Diego Convention Center on September 14-15, 2022.

Leading youth mental health experts will speak at an international event on student and educator mental health.

Wellness Together, Inc., a California-based national 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, in partnership with the California Department of Education, is hosting its 6th Annual Student Mental Wellness Conference (SMWC) at San Diego Convention Center on September 14-15, 2022.

This event, which has been recognized by Healthline.com as one of the “8 Must-Do Mental Health Conferences” Worldwide, will bring together mental health leaders from around the world for this two-day in-person and virtual event. Participants include school staff (K-12 & Higher-Ed), mental health clinicians, school board members, policy makers, State Department education staff, and stakeholders from mental health educators and students meet from across North America, the UK, Africa and beyond.

SMWC 2022 main stage presenters include:

  • Johann Hari, NYT bestselling author
  • Jane Elliot, internationally renowned diversity equity and inclusion educator
  • Tony Thurmond, CA State Superintendent of Public Instruction for the CA Department of Education
  • Katherine Neas, U.S. Department of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitation Services (OSERS)
